Un matin à Lyon

Xolingo turns every text into a personal lesson. Tap the words you don’t know, keep them in your word bank, then practice those exact words in quick arcade rounds.
Je m’appelle Léo et je visite Paris aujourd’hui. Le matin, je marche le long de la Seine.
Je regarde les bateaux et les ponts. Le ciel est bleu et la ville est belle.

Reading feeds your word bank. Your word bank feeds the arcade. Practice moves words toward mastery—and the page gets cleaner as you learn.
Choose a course, browse leveled articles, or bring a text of your own.
Tap a word or select a phrase. Its meaning, examples, and source stay together.
Fill the blank in quick rounds built from the words you actually met.
As familiarity grows, highlights fade. Mastered words leave the bank—and the page.
Start with a structured course or wander through open, leveled reading. Xolingo keeps the interface calm so the language can stay in the foreground.

Xolo turns your saved vocabulary into fill-in-the-blank rounds. The sentences change, the sessions stay short, and the practice keeps pointing back to words from your reading.

Use any of Xolingo’s five languages as the language you speak or the one you’re learning. The interface, translations, word bank, and progress follow your choice.
Ordered, story-led units introduce useful language in sequence—without locking you onto a rigid path.
Find levelled reading from Xolingo originals and open sources, with attribution kept alongside every text.
Paste a text or import a supported file. Your own material gets the same highlighting, word cards, and progress.
Reading, highlighting, read-aloud, flash cards, and progress are free with no time limit. Free learners can translate and save five new vocabulary items a day. Xolingo Pro removes that limit and opens the whole Arcade.
No account, no advertising, no time limit.

Mostly. Core reading material, your word bank, highlighting, and the free Arcade decks are designed to work offline. Machine translation needs its language model first. Browse and link-import article bodies and images are temporary caches that may need to be refreshed after about 24 hours.
No. Pick your current level or choose “not sure” during onboarding. You can move freely among A1–B2+ texts and courses; Xolingo does not lock reading behind a path.
Yes. You can paste text or import a supported text or e-book file. Imported content stays private on your device and uses the same tap-to-save and highlighting system.
Xolingo focuses on comprehensible reading, listening, vocabulary, and recall practice. Speaking drills, writing practice, and explicit grammar lessons are outside the first release.
