Is Xolingo legit?

Yes. Xolingo is a real app on the Apple App Store, made by Axolottalove LLC, a small independent studio. You can check it yourself: the App Store listing names Axolottalove LLC as the seller and links to this website for its privacy policy, terms and support, and a person answers email at [email protected].

Who makes Xolingo?

Xolingo is made by Axolottalove LLC (AxoLottaLove), which publishes it on the App Store. Its only official website is xolingo.app, and you can reach the team at [email protected].

Axolottalove LLC publishes Xolingo as AxoLottaLove on the App Store. Xolingo’s two mascots, Axo the axolotl and Xolo the Xoloitzcuintli, come from the same studio. The studio is small, which is why replies can take a few working days.

Is Xolingo free?

You can read every text and course for free, with no time limit and no account. Free learners can translate and save five new words or phrases a day. Xolingo Pro, at $6.99 a month or $69.99 a year on the US store, removes that daily limit and opens every Arcade deck. Xolingo shows no advertising.

The full list of what is free and what Pro adds is in the pricing section of the home page, and the subscription terms are in the Terms of Use.

Is Xolingo safe, and what does it do with my data?

Xolingo works without an account or advertising. Your word bank, reading progress and imported texts stay on your device in normal use. Purchases are handled by Apple, so this website never asks for payment details. The privacy policy lists every network connection the app makes, including the few technical services used for purchases and translation models.

Read the Privacy Policy for the details. This website sets no cookies and has no forms or advertising.

Is Xolingo the same as xolingo.com?

No. Xolingo is not affiliated with xolingo.com or with any other website or service that uses a similar name. The only official Xolingo website is xolingo.app, and the only official app is the one on the App Store listing linked on this page.
