A2 Spanish reading

Un fin de semana en Cartagena

A2 · Elementary 236 words 2 min read Travel

Travel stories are a great way to practice the past tense, because they are made of events: we arrived, we walked, we ate, we visited. Follow Camila and her brother through a weekend in Cartagena, Colombia, from the old walled city to the beach.

Your challenge

Sketch a quick timeline as you read: morning, afternoon, night, next day. How many places do they visit, and what do they buy to take home?

When you finish, check yourself with the questions below.
